YO Daham

YO Daham is an artist who participates in exhibitions and performances. His work responds to questions that penetrate life - ‘why,’ ‘how,’ and ‘what’ - by dealing with various materials and themes. Since his solo exhibition Liquid Solid Gas in 2019(Art Space Pool, Seoul), he has been interested in and exploring the changing nature of objects that influence life, influenced by one another.

Starting with his solo exhibition DOMESTIC DUST GROUND CONTROL in 2011 (ccuull pool, Seoul), YO was a finalist for the Hermes Art Award in 2014. He has also participated in group exhibitions such as Frequencies of Tradition (2020, Times Museum, Guangzhou) and as the Practice of Learning (2021, Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul) and, etc. In 2017, he curated and participated in the performance and exhibition CONFITE PUNO in Buenos Aires. Currently, he has launched the art space ‘10,000horsepower’(instagram.com/maaanhorsepower) with a focus on performance art, in 2023.
