KIM Inbai

KIM Inbai (b. 1978), focusing mainly on the concept of “dimensions,” uses sculptural techniques to express immaterial factors such as temporality, spatiality, and movement. In addition to offering a unique sensory experience, His creations force us to face the limits of the socially-formed individual’s perceptive biases and our learned spatio-temporal perception skills.

He has held numerous solo exhibitions, including «Do You Remember Love» (Perigree Gallery, Seoul, 2020) and «愚者 Child» (Arario Gallery, Shanghai, 2019), as well as group exhibitions such as «Romantic Irony» (Arario Gallery, Seoul, 2023), «Kak» (HITE Collection, Seoul, 2022), «Border Crossings: North and South Korean Art from the Sigg Collection» (Museum of Fine Arts Bern, Bern, 2021), «Rain Reading» (Arario Gallery, Seoul, 2021), and «Compulsion to Repeat» (SeMA, Seoul, 2019).
